Genoveva PerezGenoveva Perez is the Director of the Office of Indigent Defense for Montgomery County. She was appointed as the Fair Defense Act Designee July 1, 2002 . As a certified judicial interpreter, she has interpreted in numerous criminal and civil trials in Montgomery and surrounding counties since 1990. Prior to her appointment, she worked as a free-lance court recorder and transcriber for the 284th District Court. Genoveva reports to the 9 District and County judges and is responsible for the implementation and execution of the Indigence Defense Plan for Montgomery County. |
BERENICE JUANBerenice Juan is the Assistant for the Fair Defense Act Designee since November 17, 2003. Prior to her move to the Office of Indigent Defense in Montgomery County, she worked as a legal assistant for attorney Earl L. Pryor. She assists in the implementation and development of the Indigent Defense Plan for Montgomery County. |
